The work it's for

Events fill up, people cancel, and the waitlist lives in a spreadsheet nobody checks. Here each event has a number of spots; once it's full, new registrations go on the waitlist, and when someone cancels the next person moves up and is emailed by themselves. The same email can only register once per event. Attendees get a confirmation and a reminder the day before, and staff check people in from their phone.
