The work it's for

"Can I buy this?" over text means approvals nobody can find later and big purchases nobody signed off. Staff submit what they want to buy and why; the manager approves small requests alone, anything over $1,000 also goes to finance, and anything over $10,000 to the owner. The steps are enforced by the app, the amount can't be changed once it's submitted (only after it's sent back), the requester is emailed at each decision, and the actual cost is recorded against what was approved.
