Equipment checkout
Who has which camera, light or lens, and when it comes back.
Free to try with sample data. Sign in with your email and it's added to your workspace, ready to change. Matrixcape Build is in private beta.
The work it's for
Crew check gear out and back in; the gear manager adds gear and sends it to repair. Used by crew members and the gear manager.
- Know who has which piece of equipment
- See what's due back and what's overdue
- Send broken gear to repair with a note
Try it. It's working software.
The real app with sample data, shown for a video production studio. Switch roles (Owner, Crew member, Gear manager) to see what each person sees. Nothing you do here is saved.
What it does today
Only what the app does right now. It works in any phone's browser, and every version is saved.
- Crew check gear out and back in from their phone.
- The gear manager sees who has what and what's due back.
- Sending something to repair needs a note on what's wrong.
- A view for each person: Crew member and Gear manager each see the screens and steps meant for them.
- Equipment move through clear steps: Available → Checked out → In repair.
- Some steps ask for a reason (like sending a equipment back), and the reason stays on the record.
Make it yours.
Every template starts clean. After you customize it, change the look in Design or just ask: your colors and logo, fonts, corners, how compact it is, a board or a calendar, light or dark.
Change how it works, not just how it looks.
The steps, who approves what, the rules, the reminders and the emails it sends are yours to change. Say it the way you'd tell someone on your team. You see each change before your team does, and your team keeps using the live version until you publish.
Changes you can ask for
- “Email the person the day before their gear is due back”
- “Add a value to each item, and gear over $2,000 needs the gear manager to check it out”
- “Add a condition check when gear comes back”
- “Show overdue gear first on the home screen”
One app in your Matrixcape workspace, not a separate subscription.
Start with one problem. Build the rest when you need it: every app you add lives in the same workspace, with one sign-in for your team. The same app works for schools, rental shops, makerspaces too.
Customize this uses no build credits.
